Biography
Tasman is SLR’s Managing Director for the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region.
Tasman’s career has focused on sustainability in energy, resources, and infrastructure sectors. His project experience includes more than 25 years in project development with integrated environmental and social performance on major capital programs in the energy transition, ports and dredging, mining and mineral processing, and linear infrastructure. Some signature examples include Project Director for the environmental impact assessment and approvals for the $35Bn Australia Pacific LNG Project, and the planning and project management of the Douglas Shoal Remediation Project for the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority.
He held strategic leadership and management roles at Worley Consulting, with global responsibility for Energy Transition & Sustainability, Power & Transport, and Environment & Society, and regional responsibility for the Australia & New Zealand business.
He is a Fellow and Executive Engineer of Engineers Australia, a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and has served as a Director of Advisian Pty Ltd, an Honorary Adjunct Professor, and as an Advisory Council member of CEDA (the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia).
