Biography
Mauricio has over 30 years of experience in professional service businesses, most of it within the ATIC industry (Assessment, Testing, Inspection and Certification). He has worked on general assessments, certification, and climate change services under the Kyoto Protocol, as well as M&A and business development for new services like Food Safety, ATEX, medical devices certification, and cyber security - helping companies and teams solve complex issues related to management, risk analysis, supply chain management, sustainability, and ESG.
Mauricio holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Administration and Foreign Trade. He started his leadership journey at DNV, a Norwegian company.
He started by leading the growth of Brazil´s operations and later assumed the role of South America Managing Director, conducting turnover processes for operations in Argentina and Chile.
He then expanded his international experience through his roles as Chief Operations Officer for the Asia-Pacific region, with residence in China, and later as COO for the Americas, living in Houston, and finally being responsible for the operations in Latin America.
